During this workshop you will create a set of hand stitched cards perfect for gifting. The cards will be made from brown craft card and hand sewn with cotton embroidery thread. You will learn how to transfer, stitch and finish a design while creating your cards. Our aim will be to make a set of 5 beautifully embroidered cards and all materials required are included in the workshop as well as the loan of tools. Any unstitched cards and the pattern template can be taken away with you to be finished.
There will be a choice of card sets as can be seen in the photographs; animals, starbursts, florals or Christmas. If you have a preference for which card set you would like to complete please specify this in the additional comments box upon booking so that I can ensure I have enough of each design available. This workshop is suitable for beginners but can most definitely be enjoyed by those with sewing experience too!
I am happy to accept accompanied teenagers in this workshop.
